Bangla Problem?
If you are not able to see Bangla correctly, then you have no Bangla support in your computer.
To enable Bangla support, go to control panel > regional and language options and then go to the language tab. Mark “Install file for complex script and right-to-left languages”, then click apply.
You need the windows xp setup disk to install the Bangla support.
If you don’t have the disk, u may download iComplex from www.omicronlab.com. Then install it. After installation, restart your computer. Now you have Bangla support in your pc.
You have to install a Bangla Unicode font SolaimanLipi, as the default Bangla font Vrinda is very ugly.
Download SolaimanLipi and paste it to font folder (C:\WINDOWS\Fonts, if your local drive is C).
For Internet Explorer, go to Tools > internet options > fonts. Select Bengali from language script. Then select SolaimanLipi as webpage font and plain text font
For Firefox, go to Tools > options > content > advanced, select Bangla from Fonts for. Then select SolaimanLipi as font
For Opera, go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Fonts > International Fonts, select SolaimanLipi for Bangla.
If you want to write Bangla in Unicode, Download and install The Avro Keyboard. For easy Bangla writing, follow the “Bangla Type with Avro Phonetic” help file.
